What is Permanon Platinum make up of?
I would like to apply Permanon Platinum coating on my car. How is Permanon different from other waxing products?
Permanon contains Silicium, a primary component of glass with a hardness level of 7. This makes its resistant to heat, most solvents and contaminants. Instead of needing time to cure, it works using electrostatic bonds whereby the positive charge of the monomolecular silicium is attracted to the applied surface area, which has a negative charge. This means permanon can bond to any non porous surfaces without the underlying surface undergoing any form of chemical reaction and that the process can be undertaken within seconds instead of hours. No equipment or machinery is needed for the application of Permanon.
In terms of comparison with other nanotype products, the silicium particles of Permanon are laminar shaped, which means they overlap each other like the scales of a fish. These platelets are deposited on the capillary wall and closely follow the contour of its surface. These platelets will fill up to 90 percent of the capillary void, resulting in a surface that is smoother and more resistant to soiling. The overlapping of the platelets also reduces the permeability of the treated surface, making it virtually impossible for moisture and other reactive agents to migrate through the protected coating to the metal surface.

Does Permanon Platinum able to remove/cover stains, watermarks, swirl marks and scratches on my car ?
An analogy is like applying a transparent screen protector on your mobile phone. Before pasting the screen protector on the screen, the staff will clean the screen thoroughly. However, if the screen is already in an unfavourable condition such as scratches, dirts oxidized on the screen, the staff is not able to restore the screen back to is brand new condition despite thorough cleaning. The only method is to replace it with a brand new screen. When you apply the screen protector on unfavourable screen condition, you will notice that it helps to reduce the visibility of the unfavourable condition but unable to cover it totally.
Does Permanon Platinum works on car that has considerable amount of staining, watermarks, swirl marks and scratches on the surface?
How do I apply Permanon Platinum?
How often should I use Permanon Platinum ?
Each application of Permanon Platinum can protect your surface from a few months to a year depending on environment.Indoor application will last longer as it is not subjected to harsh environment.
For car owners, each application of Permanon Platinum coating generally can last around 3 to 6 months. To achieve optimum shine and protection, we recommend applying it once every 2-3 months.
As Permanon Platinum can be used on multiple areas (Tyre rims to repel brake dust, windscreen as a water repellant, car surface as paint protection formula), how much and how often to use depends on your objectives as a car owner.
Because Platinum in undiluted form yields near 100% UV life extension, that small investment in an easy spray on solution can potentially save you from an expensive paint job when car paint dulls! Similarly, those nice chrome rims which you have purchased can be also protected from dulling using Permanon Platinum.
Do I need to dilute Permanon Platinum with water before applying onto surface?
Permanon Platinum come in concentrated form upon purchase. Dilute the concentrated Permanon Platinum with normal water before applying. Permanon GmbH generally recommend users to dilute the concentrate with normal water to obtain 3% to 10% solution, i.e, for example a diluted 1 Litre of solution consist of 950ml of normal water and 50ml of concentrate.
Users have the flexibility to customized their solution according to their preference, needs and the surface area that need application. As a general guideline, surfaces that are exposed to higher humidity and contamination can be coated with a higher concentration of Permanon. Hence applications within an interior setting (household etc) will require a lower concentration as opposed to applications such as automotive vehicles. For outdoor tropical harsh environment(high humidity), a 20% – 30% is strongly recommended(on cars).
What is the shelf life when concentrated Permanon Platinum is diluted with water?
The shelf life is around 1 month with our local tap water and up to about 4 months with distilled water. The shelf life of a concentrated ( No dilution ) Permanon Platinum is 2 years.
